Abstract
The article addresses urgent questions of relations between people of different nationalities on the example of a multicultural family. A multicultural family is considered as a specific upbringing environment. The article presents the analysis of respondents’ opinions the process of upbringing children when there is an interaction between the two cultures. The respondents’ attitudes to the problem of familiarizing the child with his parents’ national cultures are given. The variants of a child’s language development in conditions of bilingualism are considered. The respondents’ attitude to the implementation of pedagogical support of children’s upbringing in multicultural family is shown. According to the analysis the appropriate conclusions are drawn.

Abstract
The article deals with a specific aspect of modern aesthetic education. The author examines the characteristics of schoolchildren’s aesthetic taste in the aspect of its positive impact on the process of their identity formation. The research is based on the analysis of the current state of students’ general culture and the search for ways to improve the educational process. Having performed the comparative analysis of the available scientific and teaching materials and tools for the development of schoolchildren’s aesthetic taste, the author comes to the conclusion that they are insufficient. Besides, the author considers it is necessary to use the aesthetic potential of design aids for the formation of schoolchildren’s aesthetic taste.

Abstract
Extra-curricular self-guided work of students is an important part of teaching situation and its organization is one of the main tasks, which a university teacher has to tackle. The article deals with some possible forms of extracurricular self-guided work, such as: home task; preparation for tests, credits, examinations; summarizing of information; project activity (which includes preparation for classes, given with the use of active forms of education (discussions, “round tables”, games); making reports and presentations; preparation for a scientific conference); language portfolio. Special attention is paid to the subject matter of possible tasks.

Abstract
The article is devoted to the problems of teaching a foreign language at a non-lin-guistic university, especially those connected with forming the students’ secondary linguistic personality. The author reveals some peculiarities of this process in studying English for Special Purposes (ESP) during the transition from the cognitive paradigm to the competence one. Among difficulties the teacher of English may face while working with students of non-linguistic faculties the author names the following ones: language teacher is not a native speaker; teacher’s lack of knowledge in the sphere of students’ professional interests; students age.

Abstract
The article considers a relatively new phenomenon in modern Russian school such as polyethnic class. Basic psychological and physiological characteristics of younger teenagers are presented, as well as the tasks of teaching Russian in polyethnic groups are described. Methodological literature states that while working in polyethnic classes, a teacher of Russian accomplishes the task of developing children’s abilities in order to help their further successful socialization and preparation for final examination on the same basis with the Russian schoolchildren. The article gives grounds for the urgency of using the conscious and communicative approach to teaching Russian in polyethnic classes.

Abstract
This article is devoted to the problem of foreign language teaching in non-linguistic universities. In terms of modern information and educational environment, the authors show the relevance of differentiated approach to teaching, which has additional opportunities in the aspect of students ' independent work. Special attention in this regard is paid to the use of modern ICT in the process of foreign language teaching at non-linguistic universities. Abstract
With revival of church art there was demanded again the icon painter’s profession that assumes creation of special programs and techniques of training of an iconography. Dialectic-logical approach is taken as a basis when developing the contents of the training program and the characteristic of five blocks of the program is given. According to the program students learn the graphic means and rules of creation of compositions concerning any graphic activity accustom at first and then is considered how the general laws of composition refract in an iconography. Abstract
Lessons of Material Science (Ceramics) are considered as effective means of forming students’ figurative thinking. This article discusses the relationship of subjects of art cycle with the lessons of Material Science which provide students’ comprehensive approach to studying the artistic-technological features of ceramic materials, as well as their use as a means of creative work. The authors suggest some criteria for the development of figurative thinking at the lessons of Material Science. They reflect the main directions, according to which methodical aims are given. The aims are meant to implement the objectives of figurative thinking development as a component of students’ creative abilities. The authors consider the main problem to be the reinforcement of folk traditions in professional training of students.

Abstract
The article reflects some results of experimental testing of methodological model of regulative multi-purpose educational activities formation in the process of studying biology. The author describes the stages of this model adaptation at the lessons of Biology. Six stages of students’ work based on the use of the model are described. The criteria of marking students’ success according to the score scale are given. Besides, the article presents an example of the way the stages of the lesson are being realized, if they are connected with the formation and development of students’ particular regulative multi-purpose educational activities through the use of complex teaching techniques and tutorials for teaching Biology. A number of various methodological conditions ensuring the effectiveness of the model application are revealed. Among them are: a teacher’s competence, teaching resources, psychological situation at the lesson, individual and personal approach.

Abstract
The article discusses the problem of possible ways for enhancing students’ motivation for studying a foreign language. The author presents the results of the analysis of English textbooks which was aimed at studying the influence of students’ organized activities in mastering English vocabulary on the level of their motivation for studying. The analysis allows to conclude that in most textbooks authors do not pay sufficient attention to such aspect of language studying as vocabulary, as well as to the methods of word formation. The research shows that if word formation structures are used in teaching foreign language vocabulary, there is a significant improvement of students’ results in comparison with those shown in the process of memorizing lexical units.

Abstract
This paper is devoted to defining the role and functions of a foreign language teacher in the educational creative process at the Faculty of Design and Advertising under the systemic change in education. The author studies the specifics of developing future designers and advertisers’ learning activities through forming a creative environment. Such environment is considered to be an integral part of teaching students of creative professions, especially if the modification and extension of a teacher’s functions is taken into consideration. The author comes to the conclusion that in the process of professionally oriented foreign language teaching the teacher acts as a quasi-expert in the domain of students’ professional activity. The development of interdisciplinary links creates conditions for forming and developing professional competencies of both students and teachers.

Abstract
The article deals with the possibility of using interactive teaching methods in teaching of a foreign language (French) at a non-linguistic (law) university. Basing on specific juridical oriented topics the author demonstrates some ways to use the following methods: role-playing, a round table, an interview, a discussion (“POPS-formula”, i.e. “Statement-Proof-Example-Conclusion”). The author concludes that in addition to the traditional methods of teaching a language a teacher should master modern technologies of teaching, using interactive methods, which is an important prerequisite for effective learning a foreign language at a non-linguistic university.

Abstract
The article deals with teaching written foreign language communication in the virtual space. The author focuses on the necessity to revise the existing approaches to teaching writing skills. It would thus help to meet the students’ needs in face-to-face written communication with the use of ICT. Much attention is given to the development of relevant linguistic competences in written communication with regard for pragmatics. The author stresses the necessity of creating training modules and manuals, which could provide dialogical written communication skills necessary for social networking. An exemplary structure of such manuals is briefly described.

Abstract
In the situation when there is no natural language surroundings and the time for classes is limited one of the main task of any foreign language teacher is to form language learning motivation. The article considers a complex of didactic conditions for forming university students’ motivation for learning foreign languages. It concerns the students studying art at an artistic-industrial university situated in the region where folk trade traditionally exists. These conditions are formulated on the bases of the analysis of creative personality’s motivational sphere and the factors influencing it.

Abstract
The article considers the features of ecological education in studying ecological disciplines and the interconnected course of “Processes and Devices of Chemical Technologies”. The improvement of ecological culture enables students to study the widely applied in ecology processes of nanotechnological water purification more consciously. For example, students can use their skills and knowledge about dangerous impurities of bacterial and radiation contamination the while performing their course papers and graduate works. Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of transition of the Russian higher pedagogical education system to Bologna two-tier system of education. The authors describe the changes in the field of higher pedagogical education which occurred from 2007 to 2014 in the Russian Federation. The article justifies the prospects of studying pedagogical skills at nonspecialized universities. The importance of strengthening the importance of international diploma is emphasized. Besides, the role of foreign languages in modern educational space of the Russian Federation is stressed. According to the article there is a crucial need to identify clearly the theoretical and conceptual problems of reforming pedagogical education in Russia, as well as to find their practical solution.

Abstract
The diversification of the term “competency” has become an urgent problem because of the realization of a competence-based method in the system higher education. The article presents an attempt to differentiate the terms “competency” and “being competent” within the subject “Technology and Entrepreneurship”. Special attention is given to a more precise definition of the term “competence”, as well as the teaching methods, models and stages of forming and artistic-aesthetic competence. The aims of each stage is defined, the results are forecasted.

Abstract
. The scientific analysis of researches and experience on the problem of social rehabilitation of orphan children and children in a difficult life situation is given in the article through a demographical context. The article justifies the systemic integration of vocational education, students’ socialization and professional training and re-socialization of orphan children as self-governing and able-bodied citizens. The author draws the conclusion about the necessity of forming a scientific-based concept of social and pedagogical rehabilitation and re-socialization of orphan children and children in a difficult life situation as a most important component of the demographic situation improvement.

Abstract
The article gives theoretical grounds for the scientific classification of coaches’ educational activities in modern youth sports organizations. Much attention is given to the fact that level of imagination of a young sportsman should be considered as a crucial part in the educational process. Besides, the author tends to justify the statement that it is necessary to focus a coach’s educational activities on the arrangement of conditions aimed at forming social and normed mental images and patterns in pupils’ consciousness. The patterns mentioned should be connected with the social construct “Olympic Culture”. The revealed theoretical statements of the researcher are the background for the representation of coaches’ educational activity procedure in modern youth sports organizations.

Abstract
Legal socialization of students is inconsequent due to objective and subjective reasons. Family, school and society do not have a consistent image of the legal segment of high school students’ socialization. Scientists are united in the understanding the fact than educational environment is one of the dominant factors of legal socialization of students. They consider legal socialization as an integral part of socialization and the main function of social institutions. The article discusses the solution to the current problems at the school level by improving the methodological part of the educational process.
