Abstract
The aim of the article is the analysis of the situation with the problems of storyline problems in educational practice. The authors study the theoretical basis for the use of storyline problems at school. The analysis of some modern school textbooks is performed to find out the kinds of storyline problems presented there. The research enables to conclude that storyline problems, especially economic ones, have become the object of modern teachers’ methodical work but pedagogical problems have little importance in the widespread system of education. To improve the situation it is useful to make up special Supplements for the textbooks. Various modifications of the texts of the problems with preservation of mathematical structure are offered to increase the share of pedagogical problems, in particular, with historical-cultural, and fiction-poetic content. Such tasks may be created by the learners themselves. The authors managed to introduce their own versions of the notion of storyline problem, plot and content of the storyline problem, as well as to renovate the problematics of storyline problem usage.

Abstract
This article is devoted to the characteristic of the linguistic-didactic level of the teacher of Russian as a foreign language at the initial stage of training. At the same time, by the linguistic-didactic discourse we understand the process, the elements of which are the teacher's speech in oral and written forms and his communicative behavior during the preparation for the lesson and during the lesson itself. The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the speech of the teacher of the Russian language is a complex socio-linguistic, psychological and pedagogical education, correlated with the concept of discourse. On the one hand, it is the speech of a native speaker, on the other hand, it is the speech of a philologist-linguist, for whom knowledge of grammatical categories and mastering them is the basic competence of a specialist. The task of a Russian teacher is to make the process effective and methodically expedient. The choice of grammatical form is influenced by such factors as the stage of training, the feasibility of introducing a grammatical category in full, the possibility of introducing a new grammatical form by memorizing. Communicative activity principle of modern methods of teaching foreign languages involves the study of grammar as a tool of communication; all educational grammatical categories are communicative rich. The skill of the teacher of Russian is not only to make studying grammar clear to the student, but also not distorting the grammatical structure of the Russian language.

Abstract
The fact that Russian and Turkish languages belong to different language groups, specifics of grammar, differences in linguistic world-image (particularly, in understanding displacement, movement and ways of how this phenomenon is expressed) imply significant difficulties for the Turks, who learn Russian, to comprehend the meanings of motion verbs especially verbs with prefixes. The meanings conveyed by motion verbs in Russian are expressed in Turkish in a different way. Difficulties occur with the absence of a proper equivalent in the mother tongue to some phenomena in a foreign language. Based on a linguistic-didactical approach this article discusses the problem of conveying the meanings of Russian verbs with prefixes in Turkish analysing most frequently used motion verbs идти-ходить and ехать-ездить with antonym prefixes при-/у-. As a source of research material, needed for the analysis, sentences from the texts of Russian literature including motion verbs with prefixes and their translations into Turkish were used. The selection criterion for the verbs and prefixes is the frequency of their use.

Abstract
In the article the main types of metaphors used in the news texts of the economic discourse are pointed out and analyzed. They are terminological metaphors and author's metaphors (which, in their turn, are divided into stable and creative metaphors). The difference between them is not evident for the reader. The material is considered from the point of view of linguodidactics: the authors suggest an algorithm of analyzing the economic news texts with advanced foreign learners. This algorithm including the system of text-oriented exercises helps teach foreign learners distinguish and analyze different types of metaphors and then synthesize new meanings. So it helps the teacher achieve the adequate understanding of the economic news text and develop learners' metaphorical competence.

Abstract
The purpose of the article is to clarify the reasons for the lack of students’ readiness to determine the systematic affiliation of biological objects. Besides, the directions of its development in the process of subject training are determined. With the help of a specially developed questionnaire, the authors obtained empirical material on the state of knowledge of seventh-graders in relation to the concepts of systematic series (systematization, taxonomy, classification) and the ability to distribute biological objects by taxa. Methods of analysis, interpretation, comparison and generalization are used for data processing. It is empirically proved that seventh-graders have insufficient knowledge about the content of the concepts of systematic series and poorly formed ability to determine the systematic affiliation of biological objects. Theoretical and practical significance lies in the generalized representation of a sufficient array of empirical data on the state of students’ readiness to analyze systematic material in the study of biology in the seventh grade and the formulation of proposals to improve the quality of subject training in this direction.

Abstract
It has been noted by foreign researchers that many foreign language learners mastering this language at universities tend to overestimate their proficiency, supposing they know it better than it really is. Moreover, those possessing less knowledge estimate their competences higher than those whose level is quite high (the so called Dunning-Kruger effect). As the majority of the research regarding overestimation was concentrated on the learners from western countries, in contrast to this, our study was aimed at establishing whether the above given gap exists among Russian leaners with the help of two experiments: Experiment 1 compared the claimed level of the English language proficiency with the level demonstrated by the candidates during the job interview at the recruitment agency. In Experiment 2, with the help of a specifically devised questionnaire, we obtained the data on the final tests results expected by the university undergraduates, with these results later compared to the actual outcomes of the test. Comparative analysis of the information received throughout both experiments gave us the opportunity to establish certain degree of overestimation of the experiment participants’ English language knowledge level. As a result, we concluded that such overestimation is inherent to Russian learners, with those students and graduates having better knowledge of English assessing themselves much higher than those ones who spoke English more proficiently. Both theoretical and practical value of this study lies in the fact that such overestimation should be definitely taken into consideration in the process of the English language acquisition by those who teach this language, trying to adjust learners’ proficiency level, bringing it closer to the actual level. The article also suggests certain ways of minimizing this kind of overestimation.
