Essential characteristics of the competencies in the context of developing the basics of the terminological language for bilingual students studying medicine

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of forming
the foundations of the professional and communicative competencies
(PCC) for bilingual students in Higher Schools of
Medicine in Russia, which is explicated in the analysis of the
essential characteristics of the subject-professional competencies
(in their component composition) as innovative teaching
technologies aimed at improving the educational process.
The author has proposed and justified the description of the
range of competencies in the subject Latin Language based
on the new educational standards for Higher Schools of Medicine,
which contains a set of teaching tasks and contribute to
the goal of formation of the terminological language of the
medical profession for bilingual students.
