METHODOLOGICAL WORK AND METHODOLOGICAL ACTIVITIES OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS

Abstract

This paper discusses the need and importance of methodological work and methodological activities of university teachers in conditions of the new educational paradigm. The peculiarities of methodological work in technical colleges are described. The author analyzes the main definitions of methodological work and methodological activities at a university. On the basis of the comparative analysis of the concepts mentioned it is offered to consider the methodological activities as a job demanding special preparation and professionalism, as well as the introduction of methodologists in the staff of a university.
