PARTICULAR FEATURES OF REFERENCE FUNCTION OF PRECEDENT NAMES IN THE ASPECT OF TEACHING RUSSIAN AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Abstract

The article focuses on the reference function of precedent names, their ability to act as a symbol of a phenomenon or situation. A reference is an essence of measuring features and qualities of the objects and phenomena; it has the ability to reflect national vision and understanding of the world. Precedent names, as well as a reference, possess such qualities as uniqueness and singleness. The study of the reference function of precedent names is a key not only in the theoretical aspect, but also in teaching Russian as a foreign language.
