DESIGNING MODULE STRUCTURE IN TRANSLATION STUDIES- A CASE OF TEMPUS PROJECT TUNING-RUSSIA

Abstract

The paper presents the algorithm of designing a module in “Special Translation Studies” on the basis of “Tuning” competence-based methodology developed within the project TEMPUS “Tuning Russia”. Main attention is paid to forming the competences which are designated by the module. The article gives grounds for the importance of student-centered approach aimed at achieving learning outcomes/competences on the completion by a student of a certain module of the curriculum. Inside the educational program as a whole the author studies the role of a module as a means of forming a student’s individual learning trajectory.
