DESIGN AND DECORATIVE-APPLIED ARTS IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN SPACE
Abstract
The article is aimed at the study of the principles and conditions of the integration of decorative-applied arts and design in the contemporary artistic-educational space of university artistic-graphic faculties. The creative abilities of a person are defined as an essential part of the intellect, the task of their adequate use being one of the most important ones. The author estimates the prospects of the study of decorative and applied arts as an element of modern design and shape-forming. The article raises the problem of the decorative-applied arts aesthetics as an essential element of a modern designer's creative tools.
