THE SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEMS OF TRADITIONAL EDUCATION THROUGH THE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

Abstract

Changes in the social and economic sphere of life transform the requirements to the graduates of a higher school. The concept of professional competence includes social, communicative and organizing skills as well as future specialist's personal qualities. The institutions of higher education are still basing their teaching system on traditional techniques which do not correspond with the present-day demands. The active use of extracurricular activities in education can help narrow the gap. Extracurricular activities entirely increase the quality of vocational training through enhancing motivational, professional and reflective components of the educational process.
