BUILDING THE SYSTEM OF CORRECTIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL MEASURES TO ENSURE SELF-ESTEEM FORMATION AMONG MENTALLY RETARDED TEENAGERS
Abstract
and carrying out correctional and educational work aimed at
forming self-esteem among mentally-challenged teenagers
within the framework of extra-curricular activities. The author
describes the system of correctional work on formation of
mentally retarded teenagers self-appraisal and specifies the
purpose and problems of such work. The teenagers self-appraisal
is analyzed as well as the directions of correctional
and educational influence. The study investigates the course
of experiencing the system of the specified measures and
their methodical characteristics.
