THE PROBLEM OF FORMING SCOOLCHILDREN HUMANISTIC BELIEFS AT PIANO CLASSES

Abstract

The article is devoted to the peculiarities of forming
humanistic beliefs among primary grade schoolchildren at
piano classes in music school. The features of teachers and
pupils activity have been clarified as well as educational conditions
and teaching methods; some necessary notions have
been defined. The comprehensive basis of humanist beliefs
is the ideas of humanity, freedom, goodness and beauty. It is
emphasized that the primary school age is sensitive for perceiving
and adopting humanistic values and forming humanistic
beliefs. It is shown that music can serve the source of
humanistic values expressed in artistic form.
