TOWARDS THE PROBLEM OF MODERN APPROACHES TO ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article considers various scientific approaches
to ecological education. Some scientists believe
that ecological education should be introduced at school
level; others argue that this should be done in the earliest
childhood. In any case special attention is given to the role
of pedagogy in providing effective influence on ecological
peoples behaviour. The essentially important problem is the
creation of certain conditions to realize the tasks of ecological
education. This article focuses on the basic forms, purposes
and tasks of educational work directed at forming human ecological
consciousness and behaviour.
