ORGANIZING COLLABORATIVE TEACHERS - PARENTS WORK ON IMPROVING INTELLECTUALLY IMPAIRED CHILDRENS BEHAVIOR

Abstract

The article raises one of the urgent problems
of modern special pedagogy. The main purpose of special
(correctional) schools of the 8th type is to prepare students
for independent life, i.e. their social adaptation. One of the
conditions for successful social reintegration of this category
of children into society is to organize a collaborative schoolfamily
work aimed at creating the foundations of childrens
moral behavior. Hence the issues of setting school and parents
common goals and tasks, searching for best practices
and techniques to work with parents and improve their pedagogical
culture seem most relevant.
