Portfolio as a technology of identifying gifted students in the USA

Abstract

The article deals with the
research into the most effective ways of diagnosing
giftedness among American middle
school children. The portfolio includes
a range of identification and development
methods that allow to withdraw from an unreliable
one-off identification procedure and
to discover a signifiacant number of potentially
gifted students.
