TEXT NARRATION AS A MEANS OF TEACHING FLUENT SPEECH AT A LANGUAGE CLASS

Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the pressing problems of teaching English as a Foreign Language
to intermediate and upper-intermediate students, i.e. teaching fl uent speech. The article highlights
the mechanism of using the students emotional component after reading a text to teach them fl uent
speech in English. The emotional input after reading a text eases to defi ne and cut down the number of
topics for discussion after reading a text, which makes the teaching process in groups more effi cient.
The article is based on the experimental methodological research.
