THE PECULIARITIES OF METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES IN RUSSIAN PEDAGOGICS TO THE PROBLEM OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY PREVENTION IN 1990s – 2000s

Abstract

Since the end of the 19th century the juvenile delinquency problem is treated by Russian scholars as the one, which needs a systematic approach. 1990s–2000s was the period, characterized by a significant shift in the understanding of the essence of approaches to the problem and their scientific basis, alongside with the emergence of new approaches and methods of investigation. The peculiarity of this period is the predominance of anthropological and culture approach, which a slight decline in the amount of researches, conducted in the context of sociological approach.
