THE VIEWS OF AMERICAN YOUNG PEOPLE ABOUT PATRIOTISM AND CIVIC-MINDEDNESS
Abstract
The article describes the results of a research carried out in 2004 in the form of a questionnaire among american young people. the results let us determine the amount of civic a nd patriotic qualities obtained by young americans, trace the factors which influenceon the formation of the civic image of the Usa’s young people, and also reveal some peculiarities of the american interpretation of patriotism and civicmindedness.
