SOME ASPECTS OF HEALTH, MOTOR DEVELOPMENT AND PHYSICAL FITNESS OF YOUNGER (7-10 YEARS) AND MEDIUM (11-12 YEARS) SCHOOL AGE STUDENTS OF № 4 OMSK CHILDRENS HOME

Abstract

The global crisis that swept over Russia in the
early 1990s had grave consequences affected the majority of
citizens. The dramatic deterioration of socio-economic situation
was perceived in all spheres of life, including childrens
health.
Of particular concern in this regard are orphans and children
left without parental care. More than a hundred and fifty
thousand children in Russia are currently living in orphanages.
In order to identify the features of health, motor development
and physical fitness of orphans, we studied these aspects as
well as the factors adversely affecting the development of
such children.
The obtained results confirmed the need for corrective actions
on the physical and psychological health of orphans and
children without parental care.
