THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGOF THE “OLD MASTERS” IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL PROCESSFOR THE ARCHITECT STUDENT

Abstract

Purpose. It is to consider architectural drawing, its features and specific features on the example of “old masters”, as well as the characteristic features of these relationships at a new stage of formation of aesthetic qualities of drawing, and to reveal its value in the modern educational process. Methodology and approach. The author analyzes the architectural drawing of the “old masters” on the example of significant classical works, which act as unshakable models for studying and imitating. The method of artistic analysis and synthesis highlights the relevance of the problem of architectural drawing of our time and the form of its solution. Results. The analysis showed that in the modern educational process, saturated with technical, digital means of communication, architectural drawing, made directly by the hand of the artist, acquires special importance. In this regard, it is necessary to support academic education at the appropriate level. Theoretical and Practical Implications. The theoretical significance of the topic under study lies in the field of practical experience, which shows that the periodic purposeful appeal to the basic, time-tested, classical forms and the study of its foundations, will increase the professionalism of the future architect and expand his vision in the field of modern architectural world order. The study of classical historical monuments, which are based on full-scale architectural drawing, will be useful in a number of disciplines of the humanitarian cycle, in a holistic cultural direction, forming the culture of the future architect.
