образования в повышении социальной мобильности специалиста и причины ее сниже-
ния, пути создания равных условий для получения высшего образования представителя-
ми различных слоев американского общества.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article is devoted to the system of higher education in the USA, the role of higher
education in social mobility and the reasons of its decreasing; the ways to create equal
opportunities for the young people irrespective of their social position and income by the
support of low-income families, grants and subsidies, the increase of the quality of education in
