Актуальность исследования вызвана необходимостью формировать у студентов универсальные (общекультурные) компетенции, имеющие коммуникативную направленность.

Цель исследования – выявить у студентов, участвующих в исследовании, систему ценностей и моральных качеств, определить их соответствие нормам и традициям социальной жизни в нашей стране.

Методы исследования

Методы исследования. Наблюдение, опрос, анкетирование, педагогическое наблюдение, анализ.

Научная новизна и/или теоретическая и/или практическая значимость состоит в том, что были предложены и подтверждены на практике факторы, учитывающие специфику иноязычной подготовки студентов лесотехнического вуза, направленные на развитие общей культуры студентов.

Результаты исследования

Результаты исследования. В статье описаны специфика методов развития общей культуры студентов в процессе их профессионально-иноязычной подготовки с использованием интерактивных методов обучения, пути и формы, стимулирующие активность и креативность студентов в изучении истории и культуры страны изучаемого языка (в сопоставлении с Россией).

Выводы

Выводы. В заключении автор анализирует факторы, влияющие на развитие общей культуры студентов лесотехнического вуза на основе результатов, полученных в ходе исследования.

Relevance of the research is caused by the need to form students' universal (general cultural) competencies with a communicative orientation.

Aim

Aim. The development of students' values and moral qualities in accordance with the norms and traditions of our country.

Methodology

Methodology. Observation, survey, questionnaire, pedagogical observation, analysis.

Scientific novelty/theoretical and/or practical significance. The paper proposes and confirms in practice all the factors that take into account the specifics of foreign language training of students of the forest technical university aimed at developing the students’ general culture.

Results

Results. The paper describes the specifics of the methods of developing the general culture of students in the process of their professional foreign language training using interactive teaching methods; the ways and forms that stimulate the participation and creativity of students in studying the history and culture of the country of the studied language (in comparison with Russia).

Conclusions

Conclusions. The author analyzes the factors influencing the general culture of students of the forest technical university based on the results gained in the course of the research.
