В статье рассматриваются преимущества использования аутентичных видеоматериалов на занятиях по иностранному языку для формирования у обучающихся социокультурной компетенции в условиях диалога культур, сравнительного анализа языков и культур. Автор анализирует отечественные и зарубежные методики работы с видеоматериалами, их возможности в развитии аудитивных навыков, умений общаться в деловом контексте, в формировании профессиональной компетентности современного специалиста в различных сферах деятельности.
Some advantages of the use of authentic video materials at the lessons of foreign language are considered. Their role in forming socio cultural competence based on the innovative approach to foreign language teaching is given. This approach comprises the dialogue of cultures, as well as the comparative analysis of languages and cultures. The author studies Russian and foreign teaching methods and techniques, the forms of work with video materials and their influence on the development of auditive abilities, business communication skills and professional competence of a modern specialist in different spheres.
